The Rock River Valley Tooling & Machining Association (RRVTMA) Apprentice Graduation ceremony will be held Wednesday, May 29th. As the Stateline’s chapter of the NTMA, the RRVTMA aims to serve the region’s craftsmen, machinists, and member companies through community connection, education, and scholarships.
Graduating apprentices will receive journeyman credentials in their respective four-year apprenticeship focus: CNC Precision Machinist, Gear Cutting, Metal Fabricator/Welder, or Tool & Die Maker.
The graduation ceremony will be held from 5-8 p.m. at the Illinois Bank and Trust Pavilion at Aldeen Golf Course in Rockford. A social hour with a cash bar will be followed by dinner, presentation of certificates, and keynote address from Craftsman With Character’s founder Dave Hataj.
