Forest City Gear, a wold class manufacturer of fine- and medium-pitch custom gears, hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for their new 50’x100x warehouse on August 26, 2025. This new storage facility, constructed over the last nine months, will serve as dedicated space for finished parts, freeing critical in-progress capacity within the two pre-existing buildings. It represents a major step in Forest City Gear’s strategy to improve operational efficiency and offer part storage and timed delivery for customers.

This landmark development is especially thanks to:

  • Joe Kurlinkus & the Village of Roscoe
  • Jeff Linkenheld & Arc Design
  • Dwight Bond & Morton Buildings
  • Jesse Garcia & Quad Electric
  • Mike Dobbs & Complete Mechanical Solutions (CMS)
  • Kelly Farina & Belrock Asphalt Paving
  • Tyler Nelson & Nelson Landscaping
  • Country Road Greenhouses, for sourcing local trees to replace ones removed for the warehouse
  • Darren Sell & Forest City Gear’s maintenance team
